Be Patient My Brethern

Scripture: James 5: 7-11

Guest Speaker – Pastor David Rosales Pastor

David Rosales is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Valley, which he planted in 1981 after coming to Christ in 1970 and being ordained in 1979. Once caught up in the counterculture of the 1960s, he now teaches the Bible verse-by-verse, leads a thriving church, and ministers through radio, podcasts, and conferences, alongside his wife Marie, their four children, and grandchildren.

Pastor David Rosales shared from James 5:7–11 about learning to be patient until the Lord’s return, reminding us that though life brings injustice, trials, and seasons of waiting, God is faithful and His timing is perfect. Just as a farmer trusts the rains will come, we are called to trust God with endurance, resisting the urge to grumble or lose heart. Looking at examples like the prophets, Job, and even modern believers who have suffered for truth, he reminded us that genuine faith holds fast through hardship and that Christ’s return should inspire us to live with love, courage, and readiness. Though waiting is not easy, it is filled with hope—because our compassionate and merciful Lord will keep His promises and bless those who endure.
