Signs of Life: Struggles | Act 9:22-31

In Acts 9:22-31, Saul begins his ministry with boldness, power, and clear proof that Jesus is the Christ—but the results are not what many would expect. Instead of applause, he faces persecution, threats, humiliation, rejection, and years of obscurity. Yet none of these struggles mean Saul has missed God’s will. They are part of God’s refining process, shaping him into a humble, faithful, usable servant. This message reminds us that obedience does not always lead to immediate success, public approval, or visible fruit. Sometimes following Jesus brings resistance, disappointment, and hidden seasons of preparation. But God uses every trial to deepen our character, strengthen our dependence, and fix our hope on Christ. Like Saul, we are called to keep serving when misunderstood, keep trusting when rejected, and keep walking in the fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. God is still at work, even when the process is painful.
