Lessons From the Deep: Jonah

Inevitably, God wants to use us for purposes bigger than what we can see and understand. Sometimes our own prejudices or preferences keep us from full obedience and blessing. God wants to realign our hearts to match his so that His plans to rescue people can be accomplished through us.

To reject the sacrifice of Christ is to reject any hope of rescue from judgment and forgiveness of sin. No other sacrifice can suffice, and neglect of Christ’s salvation only leaves one in the place of unavoidable judgment.
