This week, we explore Acts 2:1-21 and the incredible outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The disciples, once waiting and praying in obedience, are suddenly empowered by God—not by their own resolve, but by the Spirit’s supernatural presence. In a crowded Jerusalem, people from every nation witness the miracle of languages as the apostles declare God’s wonders in many tongues. This event marks not only the birth of the church but also the fulfillment of ancient promises: God’s Spirit now dwells within His people, breaking down barriers and launching a new era of gospel witness. Through Peter’s message, we see God’s plan to include all people—young and old, men and women—in His kingdom work. The challenge for us today is to move from mere religious routine to Spirit-empowered living, boldly reflecting Christ to a watching world. May we surrender ourselves to God’s power, becoming part of His ongoing harvest and inviting others to call on the name of the Lord for salvation.
