Focus on Missions
From our beginning, Grace has always had a huge focus on Missions! Throughout the years, we have supported numerous missionaries and mission organizations around the world! Our annual missions event, Focus on Missions, is a special time to openly lock arms with these missionaries and prayerfully consider making a promise to continue our support! We have an outstanding Missions Team that meets monthly to budget, meet missionaries, and plan mission trips!
During our Focus on Missions, we have a number of events planned!
Sunday, February 27th – Pastor Josh will share a special message directly from his heart for missions.
Wednesday, March 2nd – High 5 Ministries (children) and ReSet (Middle and High School) will focus on Missions.
Thursday, March 3rd – Renewal College Ministries will focus on Missions.
Friday, March 4th @ 6:00. The Missions Dinner, held in the main sanctuary, presents an opportunity to come together, share a meal and hear our missionary guests share about their ministries. Tickets are $5 per person/$15 per family and all of the ticket sales will go to support Hope for Ishmael (hopeforishmael.org). Saturday, March 5th @ 8:30. The men will gather for Breakfast and to hear from our male missionary guests. This event is free.
Saturday, March 5th @ noon. The women will come together for Lunch at noon and hear from our female missionary guests. This event is free.
Sunday, March 6th – We will hear from Rob Douglass, founder of Ends of the Earth Ministries (eote.org) and collect Faith Promise pledges throughout the day. The Sunday School hour will be a time for our missionary guests to share more intimately about their ministries and Sunday evening at 5:00 we will hear from our Honduras Missions Team that returned from Tegucigalpa, Honduras where they spent 8 days building houses for 2 families and spending time with the students and staff of AFE. At the conclusion of our 6:00 service, we will culminate our Focus on Missions with the final tally of our Faith Promise pledges and songs of gratitude and praise to our provider, the Lord Jesus Christ.
