Volunteers for Vacation Bible School
We are in need of volunteers! Vacation Bible School is a large ministry event and several hands are needed leading up to and during VBS!
Leading up to VBS
- Building the set – In need of several people to help with building and painting the set. There is generally a 3 week time frame in which the set is developed and prepared for final assembly. Opportunities to help with this process will begin the week of May 27th.
- Set the Stage – carpenters and others needed to help get all the builds for the set on stage and put in place. This takes place the week of June 17- 21.
Week of VBS
- Crew Leaders -With the growth of VBS we need 3 crew leaders assigned to each crew of kids. There are 12 crews typically for VBS.
- Station Assistants:
- Bible Story assistant
- Games assistants
- Crafts assistants
- Kitchen & Clean Up Crew – Need a few hands to assist with getting food out on tables for the cooks who are preparing food for the children’s dinner and cleaning up after.
- Break Down Set – morning of June 28th the set needs to come down and set up for the Carnival begins.
- Clean Up – Saturday June 29th – making sure all is cleaned and set up properly for Sunday.
