“God chooses to remember our spiritual legacy by our moments of faith, not our moments of failure.”
Hebrews 11:30-40
“Following Jesus is about bearing a cross before wearing a crown.”
-Pastor Josh Blevins
While failure is inevitable, it doesn’t have to be the defining characteristic of our lives or eternity. The victory of Jesus over the grave has conquered our failures and provided a living hope for every person who chooses to walk in His victory.
From the moment of conception, you were a distinct, living, and whole human being.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men[a] from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose,[b] and we have come to worship him.” – Matthew 2:1-2
The problem with animal sacrifices was that every time they were offered, they served as a reminder that sin had not been completely forgiven. The beauty of Christ’s sacrifice is that it is a constant reminder that all sin has been completely forgiven!
“Anything that is ultimately bent on your destruction is not worth holding onto.”
Hebrews 12:1-4
