God is revealed to be outside of our time and space. He is eternal and omnipresent, without beginning or end. Describing God within three different time frames (past, present, and future)
[Rev 1:4-8 NKJV]
“Everyone thought the church of Sardis was wonderful – but the Lord.”
“Following Jesus is about bearing a cross before wearing a crown.”
-Pastor Josh Blevins
“The enemy relentlessly wars. Jesus inevitably wins.”
-Pastor Josh Blevins
In order to continue the mission of Christ on earth, the first church needed more than its own natural resources. Today, we are in need of the same Holy Spirit power that Jesus promised to those who believe.
I can’t think of a better place to launch a vision for the future, than from a beautiful vision from the past. I like to call it, “The Ancient Vision” which is…
Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men[a] from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose,[b] and we have come to worship him.” – Matthew 2:1-2
What made that moment unique of course, is that I met someone who I couldn’t see, who died, and yet was somehow tangibly present in that room, in my heart, and in my mind. Since that moment, I have experienced this same Jesus speaking to me, guiding me, providing for me, healing me, leading me, comforting me, and changing me from the inside out.
“The very things Satan wants to use to discourage us from running our Christian race, are the things God is lovingly using to make us stronger.”
Hebrews 12:4-13
