Carrying sin in our hearts will result in an ineffective and unproductive ministry, but confessing sin and returning to the Lord will bring forth fruit and blessing.

Remember the past. Compare it not to the present. Trust God for greater things in the future.

If left to ourselves, we will naturally drift toward putting our plans and agendas above those of God. Therefore, we must continually fight to consider the work of God as more valuable than the things that pertain to ourselves.
