Positive change is coming. All in God's perfect time.
Resetting our priorities
Dear parents,
I want to personally thank you for your prayers and support through our recent youth pastor transitions. I want you to know that we take the spiritual care of your student very seriously. Providing a youth ministry that is spiritually strong and safe is our utmost priority. We are grateful for our current youth leaders and volunteers. They have remained committed to serving the students through our upcoming search process.
Our pastoral team has begun the process of prayer and discussion to set our goals for bringing on a new youth pastor. We have several candidates in mind and will be conducting interviews effective immediately. We don’t want to rush into installing the wrong person, but we also recognize the urgency of the moment. We will continue to prayerfully and wisely seek God’s will in this matter.
In the meantime, Pastor Ken Maxey will be leading with Chase and Taryn Ford to provide teaching and activities throughout the summer. I am also committed to serving wherever I can to continue moving forward with a healthy youth program. I am tremendously excited and hopeful about the future. I believe that God has incredible plans for this next generation here at Grace. Please continue to pray with us for this next season!
We are confident of God’s timing and leadership during this season of transition.
