A time is coming when those who are afflicted for the sake of Christ will be comforted, and those who trouble the church will be afflicted by God. Now is the time to find peace with God through His Son before He returns to judge the world in righteousness.
When the Lord builds, the enemy battles. To stand victorious through the fight, we must be fully aware of his schemes and the tools available to us.
Nehemiah 4
“On every single page of Scripture, buried in every ritual, and seen in every sacrifice slaughtered, there is a prophetic portrait of the person and work of Jesus.”
Knowing Jesus allows us to serve God under a better covenant. Just as the covenant is greater, so is the weight of responsibility.
Hebrews 12:18-29
2nd Corinthians 5:17-6:3
“The church in ancient Philadelphia was no losing team in God’s eyes. Though the world may have seen them as weak and seemingly insignificant, Jesus looked at this church and saw a championship team, full of faith and good works.”
Motherhood can be difficult and filled with painful moments, but God is able to redeem the pain of motherhood and bring about blessing and fruitfulness.
As God’s prophetic plan unfolds in the world, the Christian has a day of hope and desire ahead of them when Christ appears to gather His church. But another day looms for those who reject the gospel. Knowing that we have hope in Christ, we must carry that hope to as many as we can here and now.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
If Moses, who faithfully represented God, deserved honor as the builder of God’s house, Jesus deserves greater honor as the owner of the house. To honor Christ, we must hold fast to our confession of faith and take heed to the voice of Jesus.
